We
have colleagues all over the UK! Paul and Denise operate in person from
some of our National Bases, other areas are manned by trusted colleagues.
Leading
the Drive for Real Qualification in Complementary Health, by example and
by providing NVQ assessment services.
WARNING:
Do you want a properly
qualified therapist?
-
Did you know there are
National Occupational
Standards (NOS) for
Complementary Health? These include 13 major competences PLUS
specific complementary Health NOS
including counselling, hypnotherapy, kinesiology, nutrition and many
more.
-
Most therapy
"diplomas" and "associations" are independent and
not subject to any nationally enforced standard. Many therapists only have independent awards.
-
Faith based (pastoral) awards and
independent awards are useful, but the emphasis should be on
nationally recognised standards.
-
There
ARE nationally accredited standards in many therapies through academic
and vocational routes. Wherever possible
look for
Nationally Accredited Standards. These should be QCA and NQF or NVCQ
recognised. Or from an accreditation body recognised by the Department of
Education.

meaningful Nationally Accredited Standards! CLICK
